The Capra 700 represents a new direction for BENDA, bringing the brand into a new category while retaining its focus on design, functionality and engineering.
The Capra 700 takes its name from the Latin genus of the Ibex, the wild mountain goat known for its agility and sure-footed movement across challenging terrain. That inspiration carries through into the motorcycle's compact, muscular proportions and purposeful stance, creating a design that looks ready to move even when it’s standing still.
New Frontiers, New Designs
The design combines flowing bodywork with exposed technical elements. A high-mounted, integrated dual exhaust forms one of the Capra 700’s defining features, complemented by a distinctive front daytime running light signature and integrated fog lights. Crash bars are incorporated into the overall design, while a utility rack mounted above the tank features slots for equipment.
Power for the Capra 700 is delivered by a 691.6cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, producing 54 kW at 9.000 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. Paired with electronic throttle control and a wet multi-plate slipper clutch, the engine is designed to deliver controlled power and accessible torque across a range of riding conditions.
Packaging the V-twin within a compact adventure chassis was a key development focus. The EU design team worked closely with BENDA’s engineering team in Hangzhou to balance the dimensions of the V-Twin with the proportions and ergonomics of the Capra 700. A steel trellis frame, aluminium swingarm, adjustable upside-down front fork and rear monoshock provide the chassis foundation, while 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels support its adventure configuration.
With a 850mm seat height, 220kg curb weight and 18-litre fuel tank, the Capra 700 combines its V-twin platform with practical proportions. Further equipment includes a vertical TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, two-channel ABS and traction control, alongside a USB charging port.
A New Chapter for BENDA
The Capra 700 brings BENDA's design philosophy into a new segment, combining expressive surfaces with purposeful engineering and technology. Its focus on functionality, compact proportions and V-twin character sets it apart from more conventional approaches to adventure motorcycle design.
“We’re delighted to unveil the all-new Capra 700 at EICMA 2026, marking an important milestone in BENDA’s ambitions for the European market. Entering the adventure motorcycle segment represents a significant step in expanding our portfolio and reaching new riders, while bringing BENDA’s design philosophy to a new category. We’re proud to introduce the Capra 700 and look forward to sharing more details soon.” said George Schelfaut, Transportation Designer, BENDA Motor Europe.
