European journalists gathered in Saalfelden, Austria, to discover BENDA's powersports vision and experience the new Redstone 1000 R2
BENDA welcomed importers and media guests from across Europe to Saalfelden, Austria, for its European Powersports Media Launch this week, bringing them together for two days of presentations, product experiences and riding in the Austrian Alps.
Taking centre stage was the Redstone 1000 R2, BENDA's new flagship ATV, which made its European debut alongside its sibling, the 550 R2. Powered by a 997.1cc V2 producing 75 kW (102 PS), the Redstone 1000 R2 combines selectable 2WD and 4WD, electrically engageable front and rear differential locks, 27-inch tyres with beadlock wheels and 320 mm of ground clearance.
Attendees were among the first in Europe to get behind the controls of the new Redstone 1000 R2, experiencing its performance and capabilities across off-road tracks and terrain at the ÖAMTC Fahrtechnik Zentrum.
The event marked an important milestone in BENDA's European growth, showcasing its expanding powersports portfolio to importers and media while outlining the company's ambitions for the European market.
The launch provided an opportunity to discover the philosophy behind BENDA, explore its distinctive approach to design and engineering, and gain a deeper understanding of its vision for the future.
During the event, journalists were also introduced to upcoming BENDA products, including the Bluestone 550 and Supernovae 1000, which will both be presented at EICMA in November.
The European Powersports Media Launch was about more than introducing new products; it was an opportunity for journalists to experience BENDA's philosophy, with the spectacular roads and off-road terrain surrounding Saalfelden providing the setting.
From alpine roads to gravel trails and more demanding off-road sections, the riding programme provided an opportunity to discover the capabilities behind BENDA's “Unexpected Terrain” concept.
Constantin Heineman, Head of Marketing at BENDA Motor Europe, said of the event:
“We wanted to bring our European importers and selected media together to experience the Redstone 1000 R2 in the environment it was designed for. Saalfelden provided the perfect setting, allowing attendees to get behind the controls and discover its capabilities. The event was about more than the riding experience; it was an opportunity to share our vision for BENDA in Europe, strengthen relationships with our partners, and introduce the wider brand to the media.”

Also present was Ivan Tan, Vice President Sales Powersports at BENDA Global, who joined the company's European team in Saalfelden to introduce BENDA's wider international ambitions and underline the importance of the European market to the brand's continued growth:
"Europe is an important part of BENDA's global ambitions, and bringing our importers and selected media together in Saalfelden was an opportunity to demonstrate just how far the brand has come. The Redstone 1000 R2 represents our commitment to expanding our powersports portfolio with distinctive products that combine innovative engineering, performance and stand-out design. Events like this allow our partners to experience what BENDA stands for, while strengthening the relationships that will help us bring our vision to riders around the world."
A wider outlook
Beyond the riding programme, the event offered European journalists an opportunity to discover the wider BENDA brand and highlights of its power two-wheeler portfolio. Libo Liu, General Manager BENDA Motor Europe and Vice President Global Design, stressed the importance of the Media Launch and the Redstone name:
"The Redstone 1000 R2 represents an important step in the development of BENDA's powersports portfolio, but our ambitions extend well beyond a single product. Our approach combines distinctive design, innovative engineering and a willingness to challenge expectations. Bringing our European importers and media together gave us the opportunity to demonstrate that philosophy in practice, experience our products together and share our vision for the future of BENDA not just in Europe, but globally too."
For BENDA, the European Powersports Media Launch represented more than the introduction of the Redstone 1000 R2. It brought together products and the opportunity to put them to the test, a core value of the brand’s strategy in consolidating its reliable technology with a superior riding experience.
From its distinctive design signature to the performance of the Redstone range, the event brought BENDA's “Shape the Unexpected” philosophy roaring to life.
In celebrating the success of this milestone event together, BENDA would also like to wish our colleagues, partners, customers and friends around the world a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
